8th Anniversary: Sinatra - The Main Event
8 Years ago, on October, 01 1999, saw the inauguration of the German Sinatra website called 
"THE MAIN EVENT"
.
Through the years since its foundation, our website has become a virtual home for many Sinatra fans of German tongue, and quite a few of them also got to know each other personally through our site and became friends. The latter is something we are especially proud of.
Now we would like to welcome you to the "International Main Event". Following the sitemap of the expanded German version of the Main Event, the English version has been restructured in April 2007, and in the upcoming months, all of the German sections will step by step be translated into English. Some of the features will also be entirely revised during that process.
Sinatra fans from whatever countries all over the world should feel kindly invited to join us at the new international section and help building upon this project, which of course is dedicated to the artistical legacy of Francis Albert Sinatra. It is our hope that the International Main Event will soon become the starting point for many a new international friendship, and that meeting friends there will become as much a daily habit as it has already become with the German Main Event section and forum.
