CONCERT FOR THE AMERICAS
1982

On August 20, 1982 Sinatra gave a concert together with the Buddy Rich Orchestra at the picturesquely situated Altos De Chavon Amphitheatre at the Dominican Republic.

A felicitous and diversified setlist, a mixture of old hits and new hymns was picked for the audience and a few gems were added, like “I Won’t Dance” or the magnificent “Searching” – which he didn’t sing too often in concert.

Sinatra is in top form and the concert is not least because of the superb orchestra and the dreamlike location a highlight of the DVD series.

CONCERT FOR THE AMERICAS
1982

Am 20. August 1982 gab Sinatra vor der traumhaften Kulisse des Altos De Chavon Amphitheaters in der Dominikanischen Republik zusammen mit dem Buddy Rich Orchestra ein Konzert.

Eine gelungene und abwechslungsreiche Setlist wartet auf den Zuschauer, eine Mischung aus alten Hits und neuen Hymnen. Und auch einige Juwelen sind zu hören, wie etwa „I Won’t Dance“ und das wunderschöne „Searching“ – welche man ja nur selten in seinen Konzerten hörte.

Sinatra zeigt sich durchweg in Höchstform und nicht zuletzt auch durch das großartige Orchester und die malerischen Location wird das Konzert zu einem Highlight in der DVD-Reihe.
